Sombrero Sunset is a newly constructed four bedroom and three full bathroom single family vacation rental home on the quiet street of Mockingbird Lane in the Tropic Island subdivision of Sombrero Beach in Marathon, Florida.  Our home is a professionally managed, fully licensed short-term vacation rental.  

Conveniently located only 1 hour from Key West and just 45 minutes from Islamorada, Marathon is considered the heart of the Florida Keys due to its central location to many family-friendly hotspots including: Sombrero Beach, restaurants, parks, museums, snorkeling, fishing charters, boating opportunities, shopping and more.  There are many award-winning and highly-rated restaurants within walking distance or just a short car ride away.  Just over a mile away from the home is the famous Sombrero Beach, one of the best public beaches in the Florida Keys, offering complimentary parking, outdoor grilling, kayak launching area, beach volleyball, children's play area, and public restrooms.  

Sombrero Sunset is located on a deep water canal with both canal and lagoon views.   Our home includes a 40-foot dock with 50 feet of frontage to park your boat for the duration of your stay.  Convenient access to the Atlantic Ocean is only a 12-minute ride through the famed Sisters Creek, a 15-minute ride to the Seven Mile Bridge and into the Gulf, and only 6 nautical miles to the beautiful Sombrero Reef.  Whether you love to fish, scuba dive, snorkel, kayak, jet ski, or cruise - there is no shortage of fun and adventure in the waters of Marathon!
